Sonia Sotomayor

As expected, President Obama appointed a pro-abortion nominee to the US Supreme Court. Sonia Sotomayor is currently on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Even the media refer to her as a reliable liberal vote on the Court. This means we expect she’ll support abortion. We do know she supports judicial activism, in other words, legislating from the bench. Her own words gave her away. During a forum panel at Duke University Law School in February of O-five, she said the “Court of Appeals is where policy is made.” This is an appalling remark by a judge.
