Pregnancy Discrimination Charges Against Mayor Bloomberg

New York City mayor, Michael Bloomberg, recently spent time testifying in court. His company, Bloomberg News, has been sued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Three high-level women executives accuse the company of pregnancy discrimination. They said they received unfair demotions, decreased compensation or were denied advancement after becoming pregnant. One complaint said Mr. Bloomberg told a leading saleswoman “Kill it” when he found out she was pregnant. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of over eighty women. And it’s not the first time a pregnancy discrimination charge has been filed against him. Certainly, as mayor, Mr. Bloomberg has promoted aggressive pro-abortion policies. Maybe the chickens are coming home to roost.
