Chemical Abortion Failure Rate Higher than Expected
RU 486 is the chemical abortion drug. Pro-abortion activists tout it as an easier, less-invasive form of killing an unborn child. From the beginning I’ve been concerned about the effectiveness of this chemical abortion, in part because abortionists are known to cut corners to save money. Melissa Strafford of the Boston Medical Center recently released a study showing the abortion drug fails up to a fourth of the time, requiring a surgical abortion. The effectiveness drops when abortionists give the two required drugs simultaneously. They’re supposed to wait two days before administering the second drug. But this would increase the cost to the abortion industry, and it’s all about the money.
This is another red flag legal abortion isn’t as safe as they want us to believe.
