Comparing Unborn Babies With Plants
Princeton University held a symposium called “Is it Wrong to End Early Human Life?” Considering the source, you can imagine some of the input. Princeton philosophy professor, Elizabeth Harman, compared an unborn child with a plant, saying,
“There’s nothing about them that would make us think they count morally in the way
people do.” The problem with her thinking is unborn babies are people. Jeff McMahan of Rutgers University tried to make the argument he was never an embryo. This was so far out into left field, the audience responded with decidedly skeptical chuckles. The pro-abortion panelists all agreed there was nothing wrong with killing unborn babies but they argued amongst themselves as to why.
Parents, be very careful where you send your kids to college.
