Sex Selection Abortion a Problem in America

Sex-selection abortion is a huge problem in India. It’s the process of aborting a baby solely because the parents want a different gender – usually boys over girls. Now there’s clear evidence sex-selection abortion is a problem in America. A study by the National Academies of Science, using Census data, shows US born children of Chinese, Asian Indian and Korean parents are more often male. Normally, there should be more girls. If couples first had a son, the second child matched natural ratios. But if the first child was a girl, the second baby was more likely to be a boy. Similar research in Canada shows the same trend in Asian immigrant communities. Sex-selection abortion is the ultimate discrimination against women. So where are the outcries from the feminists?
