Five Million Dollars to Promote Euthanasia

A leading pro-euthanasia activist in Australia has been given five million dollars to further his pro-death agenda. The late mayor of Brisbane willed Philip Nitschke, also known as Dr. Death, the huge bequest. The Mayor’s wife had previously died from a debilitating illness. Nitschke is known for promoting his suicide pill, the so-called peaceful pill. He goes as far as advocating its availability in local supermarkets. Why should we care so much what happens with euthanasia in Australia? Because, with that bankroll, Mr. Nitschke can and will work to influence America’s stand on euthanasia. May this challenge us to consider using our more meager financial legacies to support positive ministries.
