Stopping Forced Abortion

Idaho is paving the way with new legislation aimed at preventing women from being forced or coerced into having abortions. The Governor has signed the bill into law. Local pro-lifers admit it’s narrowly written and a modest step forward, but a needed step nevertheless. Forced or coerced abortion is increasingly becoming a problem. A Pennsylvania high school girl recently reported her drink was laced with a drug normally used to abort pregnancies in cows. Authorities are looking for the guilty party. A Maryland man was taken into custody for using a similar drug. Now with RU 486 and other chemical abortion drugs available, women need additional protection for them and their babies. Let’s hope what started in Idaho expands to other states and includes additional protections.
