From Days Gone By
Next month will mark my thirty-third year of pro-life activity. I just received a note and donation for our work from Luella Dore, a dear friend from my early pro-life days. She and Avis Zoanni have been faithful pro-life workers in Sidney, Montana. We go way back. They’re regularly joined by four other members of the Richland County Right to Life chapter. Luella, at seventy-eight, is the youngest member. All are dealing with major health issues, but they keep on working to protect unborn babies from abortion. Mary, at eighty-seven, continues to make a quilt each year for their booth at the local fair. And they do Easter and Christmas bake and craft sales to help raise funds. What a special place these people have in my heart.
In my book, they’re pro-life heroes.
