Phill Kline a Hero at Heart

Each year I select an individual to receive our Hero at Heart award. It’s given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding courage and compassion on behalf of innocent human life. The last recipient was Congressman Henry Hyde. Recently, while in our office, I presented Phill Kline the award for his tireless work in Kansas. As the state Attorney General, Phill worked to bring charges against late-term abortionist George Tiller and the local Planned Parenthood. Tiller’s been charged with doing illegal abortions and Planned Parenthood for covering up statutory rapes of very young girls by doing abortions to eliminate the evidence. As District Attorney, Phill continues his efforts against a powerful abortion industry. I congratulate Phill for protecting life and being a Hero at Heart.
