A Walking Miracle

The family of a sixty-five-year-old Minnesota woman believes in miracles. Rae suffered a massive brain hemorrhage last month. Doctors declared her brain dead and the family took her home to die and planned her funeral. During the process, Rae’s daughter put an ice cube on her dry lips and was surprised when she sucked on the ice. After the second time she said, “Mom, are you in there?” Rae nodded her head and mouthed the word “yes.” They rushed her back to the hospital where surgery removed the blood clot from her skull. Rae has made great progress in her recovery and will soon walk on her own. She said God wasn’t done with her yet. It’s a reminder to all families to be extra vigilant when doctors say a patient is beyond recovering.
