Small Mother Huge Heart

Stacey Herald may be headed for a Guinness World Record. She’s only about twenty-eight inches tall and she gave birth to a baby girl eighteen inches long. When you stop to consider the reality of this, it’s a marvel! Stacey was born with a genetic disorder causing her short stature and fragile bones. She and her husband, Wil, were advised to have an abortion. They said no. Pregnancy swelled Stacey’s belly to comical proportions. She joked that if she lay down she looked like a snail. The couple has an older daughter a year-and-a-half old with her mother’s condition. This newborn will grow to a normal height. Stacey and Wil don’t plan to stop there though. They want to try a third time for a boy. Anything can be accomplished when you put your hope in the Lord.
