A Staggering Loss

Doctors told Becky and Kriss their unborn son would be born deaf and blind and would probably only survive for a few hours. Up to just weeks before delivery, doctors advised them to abort. Then little Brandon was born perfectly healthy. People were outraged doctors wanted to abort a healthy child. But what if Brandon had been born deaf, blind and unable to care for himself? God would still have a plan for his life. Look at Helen Keller. Doctors today would advise mothers to abort unborn babies like her. And image the loss to society if Helen Keller had never been born. Now imagine how many other people would have been a profound blessing to our lives but aren’t here because they were considered unfit for life and aborted. The loss must be staggering.
