I Pray It's You

Emma was a talented artist. She was pleased when she got pregnant with twins, but her boyfriend wasn’t. Against her own wishes, she submitted to an abortion. The day before her thirty-first birthday, she was found hanging in her home. The suicide note said, “I told everyone I didn’t want to do it, even at the hospital. I died when my babies died. I want to be with my babies; they need me, no one else does.” The warning signs were everywhere, but abortion’s a business and Emma and her twins are dead. Tragically, they weren’t the first, nor will they be the last. Abortion’s a deadly cancer. It spreads, killing others in its wake. Today I pray the Lord will put a caring person between a frightened woman and her abortionist – to show her the way. I pray it’s you.
