Never Forget

Pat Anderson is an attorney who worked with the Schindler family in a Herculean effort to save Terri Schiavo's life. The effort failed, but it had a impact on the way Pat looks at abortion. She had supported abortion since being a little girl. However, Pat came to compare Terri Schiavo to an unborn baby who can't speak for herself and needs outside advocates to defend her right to life. Pat concluded killing babies isn't the way to solve social problems. Just as killing the disabled isn't the way to cut down on healthcare costs. Pat also believes Terri was an instrument used by God to raise awareness of euthanasia. We watched our TVs in horror as a human being was intentionally killed because she was disabled. We owe it to Terri and her family to never forget.
