Kenny Rogers and the Pain of Fathers
Thanks to country music, more people will be aware of the pain felt by fathers who lose their children to abortion.
Kenny Rogers, a long-time country music singer, has made it the focal point of his newest work.
The title song of his new CD, Water and Bridges, deals with the aftermath of losing a child to abortion.
Part of the lyrics say, "If a father could hold his son, I could undo what's been done, but I guess everyone is living with water and bridges." The song was written for Rogers and not about him.
