Hero At Heart 5
At least once each year I select an individual who has demonstrated outstanding courage or compassion on behalf of innocent life.
I then present them with my Hero at Heart award. This time I am honored to give it to Congressman Henry Hyde. He has long been considered the patron saint of unborn babies in Congress. His moving and effective eloquence on their behalf has been unmatched. For over his thirty-two years in Congress Mr. Hyde advanced pro-life legislation. The Hyde amendment has prevented your tax dollars from funding abortion for thirty years. His strong, pro-life convictions have long been my inspiration. Mr. Hyde has announced his retirement. He will be deeply missed in Washington.
But I can certainly say, "Well done good and faithful servant."
