LIFE
ISSUES NO. 2798
EDWARD
ALLRED
Who
is the most notorious abortionist in the United States today?
I think if you would ask most informed pro-life people, they
would probably point to one of the late-term abortionists.
They might mention Dr. “Tiller the Killer” in Wichita who
kills pre-born babies as old as eight months along. Another
culprit is the infamous Dr. Brian Herne in Boulder, Colorado.
Or we could go to Dayton, Ohio, and the originator of the
partial-birth abortions, Brian Haskell.
I wouldn’t
necessarily argue as to who is the worst of these butchers,
but I could propose another who is notorious for a different
reason. His notoriety is not from doing late-term abortions,
but from the huge number of babies that he and his allied
string of abortion centers have killed over the years in California.
His name is Edward Allred. He runs the nation’s largest,
privately held chain of abortion chambers. His medical group,
which is incorporated, I presume for tax reasons, generates
$70 million a year, and from this he nets $5 million personally
in profit.
What does he
do with his money? Well, he owns the Los Alamitos Racecourse
in Orange County, California. I’m told he’s the largest breeder
and racer of quarter horses in the United States—he owns 500
of them.
I’ve
mentioned what his income is from abortions – I don’t have
any figures on what he makes off of gambling at his racetrack,
but it must be considerable, because people can now call in
bets to his race track by telephone; and he, accordingly,
provides some of the only late-night gambling on horse racing
to millions of homes out there.
He’s a well
known, aggressive racist. In the past, he has pointed with
pride to the fact that his killing centers are located in
areas which have large minority populations. This is particularly
true in areas settled by Hispanic immigrants from south of
the border—Mexico, Honduras, etc. He has made no bones about
saying that he wants to kill as many unborn Hispanics as possible.
You see, he has publicly said that, in his judgment, that
there are too many Hispanics in California.
This guy is
certainly bad news, and no one has been able to stop his activities
in the last several decades. So, as a rather dubious nomination,
I would extend his name out to anyone’s consideration as to
who is the most notorious baby-killer in America.
