QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

(Abortionist Not A Doctor)

I heard you say never to call the abortion doctor a doctor.  Why is this?  Very simple and very important.  A doctor is a person whose life should be dedicated to curing you, to making you well, and these are very positive and good goals to accomplish.  The person who does the abortion is not doing a good thing, is not making you well.  He’s hurting you, and he’s killing an innocent baby.  He’s a criminal.  What he’s doing is evil.

You should not dignify the person who does this by calling that man or woman a doctor.  They don’t deserve it.  They are the dregs of the medical profession.  Similarly, don’t call him or her a surgeon.  That also gives them a certain dignity, which they don’t deserve.  What should you call them?  Call them abortionists.  Never deviate from that title.  The word “abortionist” is one of condemnation, of criminality, of killing, and that’s the label they deserve.

Should we call him a murderer?  Use that word very carefully.  It’s a very strong word.  You see, you cannot murder a dog.  You can’t murder an insect.  You can only murder a human being, and to say “murderer” clearly implies that the abortionist knows that this living being is human and kills anyway.  Therefore, use “murderer” with caution.  Sometimes, it may be too inflammatory.  At times it can even be counterproductive—it simply turns people off.

If not murder, then what word?  The word to use is “kill”.  Use it repeatedly, directly, often.  Never shy from it.  It’s a non-judgmental, accurate, biologic description of what happens.  We use it when we step on an insect.  We use it when we spray the weeds in our yard.  We should use it for what happens to that baby in an abortion.

How about the phrase, “terminate pregnancy?”  Never use it for abortion.  You terminated your mother’s pregnancy and, I’ll wager, in about nine months, but you obviously are very much alive or you wouldn’t be listening to me.  Terminating a pregnancy can be good or bad.  And because it can be good, the abortionists like to use it.  Again, in using the phrase, “terminate pregnancy”—think a minute now—they’re really only talking about the mother’s condition.  They’re not even mentioning the baby, but mother and baby are who it’s all about.

How about using the phrase, “interrupting a pregnancy?”  Well, that’s even worse.  If you’re speaking, and I interrupt you, that means that you will temporarily stop speaking, and after my interruption you will proceed to continue to talk again, so “interruption” is a temporary thing.  There’s nothing very temporary at all about an abortion.  It is very permanent.  And so, even grammatically, to use the phrase, “interrupt a pregnancy” is really not a very good usage.  But again, it speaks only to the mother’s condition.  It again totally ignores that you’re killing a baby.
