It’s always a moving experience when I’m with Terri Schiavo’s family. This was certainly the case last night when Ellen and I attended an event here in Cincinnati with Mary Schindler and her children, Suzanne Schindler Vitadamo and Bobby Schindler.

Pro-Life Television Receives Emmy® Award
 Life Issues Institute is pleased to announce that our weekly pro-life television program, Facing Life Head-On, has received an Emmy® Award. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presented our TV host, Brad Mattes,
the Emmy® statue Saturday evening at an awards ceremony in Columbus, Ohio.
Facing Life Head-On received the regional Emmy® for being the "best of the best" in the category of Interview and Discussion.

Pro-Life TV Show Nominated for Emmy®
Facing Life Head-On garners industry attention for compelling stories, excellence in communication
Facing Life Head-On earned a nomination for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) prestigious Emmy® Award. Facing Life Head-On, a weekly television show sponsored by Life Issues Institute, Inc., is one of four nominees in the NATAS Ohio Valley Chapter’s “Interview/Discussion Program” category. Winners will be announced July 31.
 “Four years ago, we set out to produce a quality show that would touch the hearts and minds of people across America. It’s incredibly satisfying to see our team recognized for that commitment to excellence,” said Brad Mattes, host and executive producer of the show and executive director of Life Issues Institute. “We’re honored to be considered for such a highly-competitive award.”
Facing Life Head-On airs weekly in more than 100 million homes across the US and Canada. Fusing education with entertainment to promote the value of innocent human life at all stages, the broadcast covers topics as diverse as adoption, disabilities, abortion, stem cell treatments, medical technologies and end-of-life care.
