Demographic Catastrophe
According to John Rhys-Davies, “There is a demographic catastrophe happening in Europe that nobody wants to talk about, that we dare not bring up because we are so cagey about offending people racially. By 2020, 50% of the children in Holland, under the age of eighteen, will be of Muslim descent. Currently about 50 million Muslims are living in Europe, accounting for the biggest ethnic influx into modern Europe. Combine the two events of Europe’s “birth dearth” and Muslim in migration, and …This is changing the very complexion of Western civilization with different cultural values, then it is something we really ought to discuss. True democracy has come from the Greco-Judeo-Christian western experience. If we lose these things, this will be a catastrophe for the world.

Planned Parenthood types, well funded by international organizations, will attempt once again to ram pro-abortion legislation through the Philippine parliament. On the Pro-Life side are those who strongly object to the use of “human pesticides” to control the population (incidentally supported by US money).

CDC Report: Most Teens Not Having Sex, Abstinence Ed Works
New data released by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) confirms that the majority of teens are not having sex – and making it appear that the abstinence education message is working. According to 2006-2008 survey results, released by the National Center for Health Statistics, 68% of boys and 67% of girls between the ages of 15 and 17 have never had sexual intercourse.
The new data also shows overall sexual contact trends are also moving in the right direction with 53% of boys and 58% of girls 15-17 reporting that they have never had any kind of sexual relations with any partner. The findings come from the 2006-2008 National Survey of Family Growth and examine responses from 13,495 teens and adults ages 15-44, including 5,082 ages 15-24 “The perception is all kids are engaging in sex. Obviously, that’s not the case,” Jennifer Manlove, a senior research scientist told USA Today. “They may be more in control of their behaviors than we think.”
Valerie Huber of the National Abstinence Education Association details that these numbers are a positive change from 2002 when only 46% of boys and 49% of girls reported no sexual contact. She says the report challenges the wisdom of the recent federal funding cuts to abstinence education.

International Protect Life Award
Recognizes Achievements in Reduction of Maternal
Mortality, and Care and Concern For: the child to be
born Over 30 NGO leaders active at the United
Nations praised Chile for having the lowest maternal mortality rate
in all of Latin America. In a communication to President Pinera
announcing the group’s decision to designate its International
Protect Life Award to the people of Chile, the leaders celebrated
that more Chilean women have safely delivered their babies than ever
before.
The committee announced the award at the UN during
the 2011 Meeting of the UN Commission on Status of Women, and
emphasized the importance the UN places on reducing maternal
mortality within the UN Millennium Development Goals.
The
leaders also referenced the ways Chile, through its constitution and
other programs, provided for care and protection of the child before
birth. Specifically mentioned was that the “Chile Crece Contigo”
(“Chile Grows With You”) program begun by former Chilean President
Michelle Bachelet and meant to advocate for the well-being and
protection of young children, has always included strong awareness
that the unborn child is a member of the family. Also mentioned by
the NGO leaders was the new “Comprometidos por la Vida” (“Committed
to Life”) program announced by President Pinera to offer assistance
to pregnant women in difficult circumstances in order to carry their
babies to term.

Teens Suffer More From Abortions
In a study entitled, “Detrimental Effects of Adolescent Abortions,” by A. Sobie and D. Reardon, comparing to adult women, teens are:
• Two to four times more likely to commit suicide.
• More likely to develop psychological problems, including paranoia, drug abuse, psychotic delusions, projection of their problems into others, and &ldquoacting out&rdquo strategies.
• More likely to have trouble in relationships.
• Are generally in need of more counseling and guidance regarding abortion.
Are nearly three times more likely to be admitted to a mental health hospital.
Study – Cohabitation Increases Divorce
Dr. P. J. Smock, professor at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan, has published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, a new study on cohabitation in the United States. The result is “From the perspective of many young adults, marrying without living together first seems rather foolish and is increasingly becoming the first co-residential union formed among young adults. This number has doubled in the last two decades. Approximately half of couples who cohabit marry within three years; however, such couples have over five times the risk of experiencing a separation than of those who did not live together until marriage. This failure is more prevalent in white than in black or Hispanic couples”.

“Did You Know” Flyer Most Effective
George Weigel has observed that priestly sex abuse “is a phenomenon that spiked between the mid-60s and mid-80s, but since then has virtually disappeared.” He notes that there have been six credible cases of clerical sexual abuse in 2009 in a church of 65 million members. But according to the 2004 study at the U.S. Department of Education, “Physical sexual abuse of students in public schools is likely more than 100 times more frequent than abuse by priests.” Translating, this indicates that almost 10% of students in public schools are targets of educator sexual misconduct sometimes during the child’s school career.
