This Is Our #1 Priority

The nation is gearing up for an historic event in Washington, DC next week—the inauguration of the first African-American president. This key advancement for our nation understandably generates considerable excitement on the part of many Americans. But after the parade participants have gone home, all the inaugural balls have taken place, and the Obama family has unpacked and settled into their new house, the grim reality sets in—we have to deal with a pro-abortion administration in the west wing and in crucial areas of government.

The most important battle pro-lifers face in Washington is the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). If passed by congress and signed by the president, it would kick to the curb any laws that have been passed by the federal government, states or local communities protecting unborn babies and their mothers from abortion.

I’ll be meeting with other pro-life leaders in Washington, DC next week after the March for Life. I hope to have more details so you and I can be part of an effective, unified effort to stop FOCA in its tracks.

As soon as I get home, I’ll fill you in so we can move forward to protect unborn babies and their mothers from pro-abortion leaders in Washington. There’s no way to overestimate the importance of stopping FOCA. Everything we’ve worked for and attained for the babies during past decades would be lost if it passes. In a short period of time, millions more babies would be killed.
