This week Congress will tackle legislation ending abortion after five months when the baby can feel the excruciating pain of the abortion. It’s interesting that last week the Swiss Federal Council joined New Zealand and a city in northern Italy banning the boiling of lobsters because they feel the pain. Experts debate whether lobsters can feel pain but anthropologist, Barbara King, said, “…it’s our ethical responsibility to give them the benefit of the doubt.” Congress should feel the same way about doing late-term abortions when babies clearly feel the pain. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. We need your help. Please contact your senators now. Visit life issues dot org and click on the megaphone. Ask them to support the Pain Capable Child Protection Act.
