Justice Willett to the Rescue

Bradley Mattes   |   December 15, 2017

A father was eating lunch with his daughter in a Texas Chick-Fil-A when he began choking.  Efforts by a nearby customer to perform the Heimlich maneuver weren’t working.  That’s when Justice Don Willett of the Texas Supreme Court, and Trump nominee to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals jumped in. He hung up on his phone call with his wife—first time in twenty one years he did that—and was able to dislodge the food.  Justice Willett said, “I squeezed my wife and three wee Willetts a little tighter tonight, and we prayed for this man’s dear family.  Life is precious and fleeting.”  I’ve followed Justice Willett for years on Twitter.  He’s a godly, pro-life man who’ll be great on the Appeals Court, and hopefully, some day on the US Supreme Court.
