Abortion Safer at the Zoo

Planned Parenthood of St. Louis has a grim reputation botching abortions.  They’ve sent sixty-five women to the hospital since o-nine.  During a recent debate on the State Senate floor, two senators joked women would be safer if they went to the St. Louis Zoo for their abortions.  “[It] gets inspected once a year,” said Senator Bob Onder, “We know it will be safer.”  He also pointed out Planned Parenthood has a three-day waiting period before killing the baby.  The zoo, however, requires a five-day waiting period before an animal can be euthanized, and they must inquire with other zoos to see if they’re willing to adopt the animal in question.  The tragic irony is animals receive higher consideration than unborn human babies in Missouri.  It’s time to change the equation.
