Abortion Worse than Childbirth

Oftentimes, when a woman is told the unborn child she carries suffers from a serious medical condition incompatible with life, abortion is usually recommended.  Of course that’s contrary to God’s plan for the baby.  He has a purpose for every child conceived, even if the life is to be brief.  A new study published in Prenatal Diagnosis unintentionally reinforces God’s will.  It says women whose babies are diagnosed with lethal medical issues are better off if they allow the baby to live and let nature take its course.  Women who abort suffer significantly more despair and depression compared with those who continue the pregnancy.  I believe this also affects the wellbeing of the fathers.  We don’t know why God allows these situations.  We must simply trust His plan.
