This week I’ve been sharing memories—about dad, and being a dad—that listeners sent by email and social networks. Wish I could’ve shared them all. It’s Friday so I thought I’d share some of my own memoires. My dad was a man of few words, but he inspired us five boys by his example. And the one I cherish most is he lived his faith in Jesus our savior. As for memories of being a dad, I loved the younger years when they totally depended upon me; returning from work and being enthusiastically greeted with hugs and kisses. I miss those days, but now that they’re four grown men, they’re beginning to have kids of their own and the cycle of precious memories dawns anew. To all the dads out there, happy Father’s Day. May it create new cherished memories.
