Do you hear what I hear? These words of a cherished Christmas carol recall the angels’ song announcing the birth of our Savior. These words also apply to the joyful sounds people are hearing throughout America this time of year. It’s the sound of babies saved from abortion. Babies and parents enjoying a first Christmas. A family who welcomed a new member by adoption—thanks to the life-choice made by a birth mother. Maybe your house is buzzing with the sound of foster children who’ve found stability, love and provision under your roof. The next time you hear this beloved Christmas song, think of the families who are so much richer because a mother chose life. Pray for those mothers today, and the families and friends who are celebrating a very special Christmas this year.
