Obamacare Scares Away Baby Doctors

The reasons people oppose government-controlled healthcare—better known as Obamacare—are many. I predicted it wouldn’t take long to experience the negative fallout, and it’s already begun. The Windber Medical Center in a small town about sixty miles from Pittsburgh will stop delivering babies next month. There’s several reasons for this, but the hospital is losing two of its obstetricians and the other two are refocusing their practices away from OB. It’s because it can’t afford them based on what Obamacare will reimburse the hospital for their services. This, my friend, is only the beginning. Many rural and small town areas my follow suit. Insurance premiums are already going up in anticipation of the tax increase slated to pay for a piece of Obamacare. Things will get a lot worse.
