Erin Kelly wrote a heartbreaking column in the New York Times. At the age of 49, she was unexpectedly pregnant. She and her husband were actually excited. Their favorite pastime was discussing baby names, and Erin was anxious to tell her daughters about the baby. But with her age comes some health risks for the baby, so the couple decided to have an abortion if their child had any genetic disability. In the end Erin suffered a miscarriage. The saddest part was when she said women should have the absolute right to abortion with no exceptions. This means even for no reason in the eighth month. Imagine the hard, cold heart that results from Satan whispering into a mother’s ears it’s noble to kill your own child if he or she fails to meet your idea of perfection.
